Job Description:
My client is in need of a SAP ABAP Developer w/ BW and Business Objects experience:
Required Experience:
Minimum of 5 years SAP Business Warehouse (BW) experience on technology projects using SAP ERP systems.
Minimum of 3 years experience in programming SAP Business Objects.
Must have experience with SAP Business Objects Data Services, DQXI (previously known as FirstLogic) integration with the overall ETL tool
Must have strong experience in data modeling using BI 7.0 and experience in BOBJ 4.0 and its new capabilities
Preferred Experience:
Experience with SAP Data Services, DQXI, ETL
Experience with Data Services to perform the data conversion for customer master
Experience in extraction of data from ECC using the standard content and development of BI Objects like Data source, DSO, Cube, Multi Provider, Open
Hub and Process chain
Experience creating reports using SAP WebUI, Crystal Reports XI to 2008 and SAP Business Objects, Information Design Tool.
Experience with background (batch) programming
Experience with Data Services in a batch mode to perform both ETL and Data Quality (Address Cleansing, Matching).
Experience with PostalSoft product or similar address verification software
Experience with pulling data from multiple sources like BI, ECC and other system and merge the data for Reporting in BOBJ Tool.
Experience with SAP ABAP programming
Ability to understand the reporting required and determine which BOBJ tool will better fit to satisfy the reporting requirement
Advanced knowledge of SAP R/3, CRM, ERP, BW and E-Portals
Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) in general and SAP Enterprise Services Architecture
Ability to communicate technical information verbally and in writing
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
Ability to map business processes to technology particularly SAP technology
Knowledge of the SAP Business Process Platform
Knowledge of the SAP Business Partner, Financials (GL and AR/AP), Case Management
Knowledge of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and how ITIL maps to SAP solutions.
At least two years of SAP BW, SAP ECC or SAP CRM development experience or SAP Business Objects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
