JOB TITLE:

Senior System Administrator – UNIX (PCDS)

 

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

6 - 8 Years

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

·         Experience with Unix/Linux, Korn Shell, Perl to create deployment executable.

·         Working knowledge of Oracle Databases, including SQL, PL SQL.

·         Working knowledge of one workload automation tool such as CA Autosys, CA ESP, CRON

·         Working knowledge of one software delivery tool such as CA DSM/ITCM

·         Working knowledge of one version control tool such as CA Harvest, CVS, SCCS.

·         Working knowledge of a build tool or compiler such as Openmake, Ant, Gnu.

·         Working knowledge of service management software such as HP Openview, CA Service Desk.

·         Working knowledge of Java and/or C helpful.

·         Working knowledge of FTP technologies.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong customer focus and demonstrated ability to work in geographically dispersed teams.

·         Ability to manage competing priorities while working on concurrent projects and/or simultaneous support tasks across multiple business or technical units.

·         Must have exceptional computer skills within stated area of engineering expertise and must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications.

·         Logical thought process and ability to learn new systems, concepts and procedures.  

·         Must be able to make accurate decisions related to task delegation and provide leadership in filling project and/or support team responsibilities.

·         Demonstrates ability to work independently to meet customer requirements and manage workload

·         Focusing on the Client, Demonstrating Courage and Integrity, Communicating with Impact, Acquiring and Applying Technical Expertise

·         Building and Sustaining Relationships, Managing Projects, Change Agility

·         Commits to professional growth; seeks opportunities for development; expected to share knowledge with others

·         Should have ITIL/ITSM background and have experience with managing work efforts within IT Operations.
