Beach today featuring Krishna Kumar (KK Version 2 and will be
upgraded to KK if the 'original KK' is not seen in another month's
time!), Ram (another addition to the 'Ram Runners' which is likely to
challenge the 'Ramesh Runners' soon!) and myself! It was extremely
difficult in the morning to wake up at 2:30 AM and get ready for a
run for second day in a row. It only makes me wonder how on earth
someone has been doing that for 17 days in a row and I am sure it's
not as easy as a cobweb cleaning business.
Started the run at 4:00 AM at the Light house end of the Marina
Beach. The plan was to run all the way upto War memorial, right turn
towards Monroe statue and come back by the Swami Sivananda Statue.
After the first 20 minutes, I gave up on their pace and chose to do
my own run which also ended sooner than the others. Bala and KK held
together for a long time. Soon, KK slowed down but nothing seems to
stop Bala who must have run at least 24 Kms! Bala and KK at the
finish line!
