Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Engineer
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: Long Term (contract or full time)
Rate:$market rate/hr
Responsibilities:
Work as a member of a cross-functional team including quality assurance testers, software developers and product management
Create and execute manual test cases for defect corrections and enhancements to ensure system functionality satisfies acceptance criteria
Perform manual regression tests
Submit errors and issues to software developers and retest once errors have been corrected
Create and maintain automated test suites using open source tools like Selenium and PHPUnit
Develop automated user interface tests for new and existing web based screens
Analyze automated test results and report issues
Assist software developers in designing test cases for unit testing
Requirements:
Experience testing web based applications
Experience designing, coding and executing automated test scripts
General knowledge of software development life-cycle and QA methodology
Able to meet aggressive deadlines and handle multiple and complex projects
Able to use independent judgment to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload
Willingness to prove themselves in a merit based culture
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Calm, patient demeanor
Impeccable professional reputation with a high degree of energy, integrity, and positive spirit
Commitment to excellence in all work activities
Experience with start-up ventures preferred
Preferred:
Experience coding automated tests using PHPUnit, Selenium IDE, or Selenium Webdriver
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Working knowledge of cross-browser limitations and compatibility
Knowledge or experience with medical concepts and software
