Job Title: SAP Senior Basis Administrator
Job Location: New York City, NY (Citizen or Green Card Holder)
Duration: 3-4 months
Rate: DOE
Required Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences or similar.
Al least 8 years' experience in SAP systems administration, including 4 years minimum in production support role working in Microsoft Windows server and SQL server.
Experience with SAP architecture, Basis administration and Production support.
Experience with SAP running on Windows and SQL server. (MUST)
Experience with systems monitoring, job scheduling, system configuration, authorizations, transports, SAP database tools,
SAP landscape and client administration such as copies, deletions and refreshes.
Knowledge of SAP installations and administration and architecture in High Availability and Virtual environments.
Familiar with SAP protocols concepts i.e. RFC, SapConnect, ALE, OLE, BAPI, Archivelink.
Database Administration, research and troubleshooting knowledge under MS SQL Server
Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
Desired Skills
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Working knowledge of SAP Netweaver systems running on Windows with SQL server.
Expertise with SAP Implementation, Management and Support processes
Familiarity with SAP online and offline monitoring tools
Management of Microsoft SQL Server and related tools
Understanding SAP's presentation, application and database layers
Understanding of the SAP's new software release management strategy (Support & Enhancement Packs).
