Dear Chennai Runners,
I am very glad to inform you that 5 Indians living in Seoul, South Korea participated SEOUL INTERNATIONAL FULL COURSE MARATHON, (IAAF accredited GOLD LABEL RACE) held on last Sunday 18th March 2012. This is a BOSTON qualifier race as well. The race started from GANGWHAMUN SQUARE @ 08:00 AM and ended at OLYMPIC STADIUM @ JAMSIL. The time limit to finish the race is 5 hours.
Three of us finished in SUB-4 (GIRISH, RAJAKUMAR & SENTHIL RAJA) and the rest two in SUB- 5 (SABARINATHAN & MURUGADOSS). Many Indians living in Seoul visited the race route and cheered us. We proudly waved the TRICOLOR FLAG at the Finish point inside the OLYMPIC STADIUM.
This is the maiden full course marathon for SENTHIL RAJA & MURUGADOSS and second one for RAJAKUMAR & SABARINATHAN. GIRISH is an ultra marathoner and he ran many races before.

This is the first time many Indians are participating Marathons in Korea. We have formed a group in Face Book for runners living in Korea. Few more runners are under training now and I expect the number to grow up to 10 before the end of 2012.
